Cold-Weather Performance

The Pytes V5°α Plus stands out with its cold-weather readiness. It features an expanded temperature range and integrated heating, enabling it to  maintain high-efficiency performance across an ambient temperature range of -18°C to 15°C. This capability is vital for maintaining performance during winter when temperatures can significantly drop.

Start: The battery module activates heating when the minimum cell temperature reaches 5°C or lower.

Stop: It ceases heating when the minimum cell temperature rises above 15°C.

Disable: The module is disabled when the minimum cell temperature falls below or equals -20°C or when there is no external power/load.

Technical Specifications

The Pytes V5°α Plus is equipped with a 250W self-consumption power, which is crucial for sustaining its operation during cold weather. This feature enables the battery to activate self-heating by consuming a small amount of its stored energy, even when isolated from external power sources. This ensures maintained charging capability and stable performance, providing reliable energy assurance.

Triple Safe Protections for Winter Reliability

Engineered with automotive-grade LiFePO₄ cells, the Pytes V5°α Plus integrates three robust safety mechanisms to ensure reliable operation through harsh winters. The system combines an enhanced BMS that actively monitors cell status in low temperatures, a battery breaker for emergency shutdown, and an integrated aerosol fire suppression system. This multi-layered protection works in unison with the inherent stability of LiFePO₄ chemistry to provide maximum safety assurance when energy demands are highest.
