In the low-voltage storage lineup of Pytes, the V16 and V16 Lite are both 51.2V, approximately 16kWh LFP battery systems, designed for residential energy storage applications but optimized for different installation environments.
Both systems share the same core foundation:
51.2V lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery platform
~16kWh energy capacity per unit
Multi-unit parallel expansion capability
Compatible with mainstream hybrid inverters for residential ESS applications
Within Pytes’s product lineup, both the V16 and V16 Lite can be applied in residential energy storage systems depending on installation conditions.
The V16 is designed for wall-mounted installation in outdoor environments.
In typical applications, it is installed:
On exterior building walls
In outdoor PV system installation areas
Near PV system components where outdoor installation is required
A key feature is its IP66 protection rating, which provides dust-tight and water-resistant performance, allowing direct outdoor installation without additional enclosure protection.
The structural design supports wall-mounted installation, enabling flexible positioning within outdoor PV energy storage setups.
The V16 Lite is designed for indoor installation environments.
It is commonly installed in:
Garages
Indoor utility rooms
Warehouses or small commercial indoor energy storage spaces
The V16 Lite uses an IP20-rated module designed for indoor use environments.
Its compact housing structure supports easier placement inside indoor layouts, where installation space and wiring are managed within the building structure. In addition, the V16 Lite is available with optional caster wheels for greater mobility and flexible positioning.
Selection between the two Pytes products is based on installation environment requirements:
Choose V16 when installation is required outdoors or on exterior walls near PV system components
Choose V16 Lite when installation is completed indoors in controlled residential or commercial spaces
